'Sharknado' is going out all out to combine two of America's biggest fears and fascinations, Sharks & Tornados. 

The new Sci-Fi flick, directed by Anthony C. Ferrante, is about a storm that drives sharks into the path of a huge tornado and makes them "rain down" across L.A. So the cast including, Tara Reid (American Pie) and Ian Ziering (Beverly Hills, 90210) try to stop or "destory" the tornado before it ruins the city. 

Ian Ziering's character even decides his weapon of choice is a chainsaw to fight off the sharks, which can make for some awesome or awesomely bad scenes. 

The premise is so cheesy that it could actually keep your attention, kind of like the trailer does. As unrealistic as it is, it is pretty awesome to see sharks falling out of the sky, because if that did happen, people would be completely freaking out. So that makes for a good Sci-fi movie, it has to be unrealistic. 

Tara Reid went to Twitter ahead of the premiere, "I actually can't wait for Sharknado it might be even better then Snakes on a Plane. Lol I hope you will have as much fun as I had."

"Sharknado: Hell hath no fury like a pissed Great White Shark that gets sucked out of the ocean and dropped in 90210," tweeted Ziering.

'Sharknado' will premiere on Thursday, July 11 at 9pm EST on the SyFy Channel.
