Shane & Shane New Album 'Bring Your Nothing' Releases Next Week (May 14)
Shane and Shane, an acoustic praise and worship group out of Texas, is releasing their new album Bring Your Nothing.
Shane and Shane have been in the recording industry together since early 2001. The guys clearly describe themselves on their Facebook page as "Two guys, that play guitar".
The laid back band has been known for their church camps, worship events, and even throughout the college circuit, enough to be able to be dubbed one of Christians musics most compelling artist groups.
Their new album Bring Your Nothing was derived from the scripture in Isaiah that states, "Come everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Come buy wine and milk without money and without price." That scripture is exactly what the bands new album is talking about, Bring Your Nothing, just come to God.
The dynamic duo describes their new album with features of jazz, pop, and rock genres transitioning into their modern worship music. The bands clear technique and sound comes from the two mens vocal talents and their ability to make honest lyrics that hit home to every person listening.
Shane and Shane also recently attended the "Liberate 2013" conference in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, that challenges believers to put Grace in to practice. The conference has multiple guest speakers including; Steve Brown, Bryan Chapell, Elyse Fitzpatrick, Ray Ortlund, and Ray Tripp. Liberate 2013 lasted four days with breakout sessions and worship hours led by Shane and Shane.
The conference invited people to let go of the troubles that they face everyday and find the ability to really practice the importance of grace.
Shane and Shane will be performing concerts throughout the middle of October.
The concerts will include the Bible and Missionary Conference with Sandi Patty and the Fusion Alaska: Statewide Youth Conference with Newsboys by ending with the D6 Conference in Louisville with James Dobson and Greg Stier.
Bring Your Nothing will be out in stores next Tuesday on May 14.
