'Shadow Warrior' for PS4, Xbox One Release Date: New First Person Shooter Video Game Set for Sept. Launch
Devolver Digital has confirmed that its latest first-person shooter computer game 'Shadow Warrior', which is developed by Flying Wild Hog, will be released on Sept. 26 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One across Europe, Australia, and Asia at the same time by Bandai Namco Europe.
While the publishers did not mention anything about the release of the game in North America, it is now assumed that 'Shadow Warrior' will be released in the United States on Sept. 23.
It has been reported that the title will have "high quality reshaped graphics" for both the latest gaming consoles together with exclusive content, which comprises a latest arena mode, a new campaign, in addition to special weapons.
Earlier, Fork Parker, CFO of Devolver Digital, said that they followed a lot of fan requests in this game, and that they were "thrilled" to release the title for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. In addition, the publisher explained that 'Shadow Warrior' is "a bold new vision of the 1997 cult classic, reimagined with a blend of modern design, inventive combat mechanics, and a contemporary retelling of Lo Wang's comical rise to legend."
In fact, the new game will re-tell the story of Lo Wang, Zilla Enterprise's "corporate shogun," who is assigned to hunt down a legendary blade. However, Wang is unfortunate that the blade is in some way related to ancient gods from a different land and they are determined to destroy earth.
The video game will be available for $39.99.
