The defending Super Bowl Champions Seattle Seahawks will face the Carolina Panthers on October 26 at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, NC.

The Seahawks (3-3) looks to avoid a possible three game losing streak, after suffering a tough defeat to the St. Louis Rams by a score of 28-26 on October 19.

"We've got work to do, we've got work to do to get consistent," said Seattle head coach Pete Carroll to reporters.

Seattle linebacker Bruce Irvin expressed his thoughts regarding his squad's surprising mediocre record thus far in the 2014 campaign.

"(There are) dudes with a lot of heart in here," said Irvin to reporters, "Like anywhere else, when you face adversity it's how you respond."

Seahawks QB Russell Wilson admitted that he wants to be known as an accurate passer, rather than a mobile quarterback.

"I really don't want to run, to be honest with you," said Wilson to reporters, "I'm trying to throw it all the time and keep my eyes down the field."

Meanwhile, the Panthers (3-3) were recently crushed by a final score of 38-17 to the Green Bay Packers last Sunday, a game where QB Cam Newton went 17-31 for 205 yards, when he threw a touchdown and an interception.

Now, Carolina is looking to prevent a potential two game losing streak in their future match versus Seattle on Sunday.

"What are we going to do? Quit? Absolutely not," said Newton to reporters, "We have to keep going, keep fighting and we'll figure out a way to get out of this."
