Season 4 of "The Voice" Premiered tonight on NBC

Singers Usher and Shakira have filled the seats for original judges Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera for this season.  The new judges will be joining returning stars Adam Levine of Maroon 5 and country music performer Blake Shelton.  The host will continue to be Carson Daly, who has been hosting since the show began.

New judges Usher and Shakira seemed to fit in well with Levine and Shelton.  Blake Shelton might have been the least known name when the show started Season 1 but he has come to be one of the most endearing and popular judges.  Shelton also has come away with the winning singer, 2 of 3 seasons so far.

The talent for "The Voice" has been strong every year and this year seems to be no different.  Winner of last season (Season 3) Cassadee Pope has potential to be the shows first big breakout star with her album coming out and landing on spot on Rascal Flatts up coming tour.  If Pope can reach sustained success that would open up doors to show that "The Voice" can be more then just great ratings but also produce stars with long careers.

Usher had the funny comment of the night saying, "Nashville is my favorite state" to which the judges rightfully mocked him for the rest of the night.

"[Monday night] is the best episode of 'The Voice' ever," Daly said during an appearance on NBC's "Today" show on Monday morning, "and it's in large part to Usher and Shakira, Blake and Adam."
