Scottie Pippen, former Chicago Bull and teammate of Michael Jordan, was involved in a fight in Los Angeles over the weekend. 

Pippen was at the Nobu Malibu sushi restaurant on Pacific Coast Highway when an argument started between him and another man.  A physical altercation ensued and the man ended up being taken to the hospital. 

Pippen ended up leaving the restaurant, no word on the man's age or health now. 

Steve Whitmore, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County sheriff's office sad that witnesses said that the altercation was outside in the parking lot near the valet stand.

"That argument led to an altercation," Whitmore said. "Our detectives are investigating this right now."

"Charges could follow, we don't know," Whitmore stated. "We have to investigate and check with all the witnesses and find out exactly what happened."

A request to comment was asked for by the Chicago Bulls officials, as Pippen serves as a special advisor to the Bulls president Michael Reinsdorf, but they said it would be too premature to discuss the situation.
