Reports have been confirmed; Scarlett Johansson has brought a newborn baby girl into the world on September 4. The child was named Rose and was fathered by her fiancé, Romain Dauriac.

Her representative said that both of them are doing well. The 29- year-old 'Lucy' star was confirmed to be pregnant in March. However, she and her fiancé have been keeping the news a low key. On a side note, Scarlett and Romain got engaged in September 2013, Rose is their first baby together.

After she became pregnant, Scarlett was said to be staying away from the paparazzi, but that did not stop the fans from looking for the latest news. Both of them were last seen together in public, out and about in New York City. Scarlett apparently covered up her baby bump with a bag, while she walked together with her partner, hand-in-hand.

Even though the couple chose to be away from the spotlight for the pregnancy, Robert Downey Jr. had no doubts about his 'Avengers' co-star and her motherhood. "She's the greatest...I know she's gonna be a great mom," he said in a comic convention recently.

According to E! Online, the couple revealed, about a year ago, that they are planning to get married. Now that they have welcomed the baby, the pair can now focus on their wedding, "She is telling friends that she is not getting married until after the baby," an insider said.

In an interview on 'Good Morning America' earlier this year, Scarlett Johansson did confessed that she wants to get marry and build a family of her own, "I would like to have my own family, that would be nice. They say it's never the right time, and I am sure that that's true, but I think you have to plan it like anything else," the actress said.
