With only a couple of weeks left until the premiere of 'Scandal' Season 4, fans are still looking for updates on what they can expect when the series returns to ABC. Spoilers reveal some of the exciting elements, heart-wrenching love affairs, and of course, scandals that are set to emerge in the upcoming episodes.

ABC is focusing their efforts to make sure that 'Scandal' is well promoted before it's premiere on Thursday, September 25 at 9 p.m. EDT. They've even gone as far as to release a promotional photo-shoot of the entire cast.

As it stands, the regular cast of the show includes, Bellamy Young, Kerry Washington, Darby Stanchfield, Scott Foley, Guillermo Diaz, Katie Lowes, Tony Goldwyn, Jeff Perry and Joshua Malina.

Beyond them some of the reoccurring actors and actresses are Joe Morton, Sonya Walger, Mary Mouser, Matthew Del Negro, and Portia de Rossi.

The guest stars that can be expected to appear in some of the Season 4 episodes are Mary McCormack, Josh Randall, and Kelen Coleman.

Stepping into some of the plot spoilers for the upcoming installment, one of the best places to look is the synopsis for Episode 1, entitled "Randy, Red, Superfreak and Julia."

One of the most pressing questions on fans' minds is where is Olivia? Rumor has it, she's on her way to Washington with Jake, but viewers can only be sure once the episode airs. Meanwhile, spoilers say Ftiz has Olivia on his mind while he fantasizes about his life with her.

Another major spoiler is Mellie's confession. She's going to set her selfless act aside and finally confess that Big Jerry criminally took advantage of her. Evidently it's going to be a dramatic season this time around when 'Scandal' returns to the air.
