New rumors have emerged about 'Scandal' Season 4, and the most shocking one of all was recently disproven. Apparently, Kerry Washington was going to be replaced by Meagan Good on the show, however, that has since been deemed false.

Several weeks remain until the show returns on air, and rumors have not stopped circling the show in the slightest. Again, the most disturbing one, which resulted in an uproar from the fan base, was recently slammed and confirmed as fake.

Looking back on the rumor in question, it does not seem probable that the series would replace its main character, so close to its air date.

However, for a while, some fans were left upset after hearing the rumor. A website known as CreamBmp.com dropped the story about the show's cast change. They alleged that Washington refused to accept a pay cut which ultimately led to her replacement, Meagan Good.

The false report went on to say that the production costs for the show had increased, resulting in the star's reduction of salary.
