'Scandal' Season 3 Spoilers: Olivia is Surrounded by People Who Want Her Dead While Josie Deals with Her Daughter Candy

Olivia Pope is no stranger to danger. It's part of her job description. But will tonight's new episode prove even too scandalous for her find a way out alive?

In the promo clip for episode 7 "Everything's Coming Up Mellie" Olivia is telling someone that she's surrounded by people that want her dead. Olivia is now campaign manager for Josie [guest star Lisa Kudrow]. Her character is confident that she'll win the nomination.

But could Josie's daughter's [Candy] instincts about Olivia and her associates stir some controversy for her politico-mom?

"It feels like she's got propriety issues and she's wondering why Josie invited these people into their campaign and life because they're sneaky," Kudrow revealed to The Hollywood Reporter.

Here's the official synopsis:

Mellie is still trying to recover from the public backlash of the last year so she decides to do a hard-hitting news interview. Meanwhile, as Cyrus continues to plot against Sally Langston, we learn how Fitz, Mellie and Cyrus became a team. Back at OPA, Huck continues to push Quinn away, but Quinn's bloodlust could get her into some dangerous situations.

Scandal airs Thursday nights at 9 PM on ABC.
