The season three finale of hit ABC show "Scandal" airs this Thursday and fans are on the edge of their seat waiting to see what will happen. For spoilers from the cast, read on.

The events of season three have made for a finale that is sure to be exciting. President Fitz looks like he is about to lose the election, and on top of all that, his life is in danger. Will Olivia and the crew be able to save Fitz's life, as well as his election? Cast members recently spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about the finale. And though they remained tight lipped about what specifically will happen on Thursday, they did promise excitement.

"Twitter will explode. Explode!" Scott Foley, who plays Jake on the show, said of the Finale. He is expecting a huge outpouring of opinions from fans after the season three finale. And it seems that he does not expect that outpouring to be completely positive.

"This final moment will be divisive. Some people will think, 'Thank God, yes, that's exactly what we wanted to see happen.' Other people will be up in arms," Foley said.

He went on to clarify that, in fact, he thinks more people will be upset by the ending than happy with it.

"I have a feeling there's going to be more people up in arms," he said.

Kerry Washington, who plays Olivia on the show, also spoke to The Hollywood Reporter. She said that fans will most likely be surprised by the finale, as she herself was somewhat surprised.

"The final shot of the episode is not anything I could have imagined weeks before -- or the episode before," Washington said.
