Though Miley Cyrus is all the rage, and one of the hottest young celebrities on the planet right now, she's not too famous to poke a little fun at her recent transformation.

In a series of promo trailers for this week's Saturday Night Live, Miley, who is both the host and musical guest, mocks her VMAs performance and risky wardrobe choices.

At one point SNL cast member Taran Killam asks "Do you mind me asking why you're always sticking out your tongue?"

Not taking herself too seriously, the "Wrecking Ball" singer replies:

"It's how I smell."

"Like a snake?"
