The Dove Award Winning band, Sanctus Real, just released their sixth studio album Run back in February.

Sanctus Real  originally started in 1996 out of Toledo,Ohio which completed the five member band. The group is best known for their hit singles "Beautiful Day", "Everything About You", "The Fight Song" and "Im Not Alright".

The bands sixth studio album Run was released by Sparrow Records and has already gained much appraise for the hit single "Promises". The album has already charted on the Billboard 200 and the Billboard Christian Albums charts. The bands new album is about how they have lived their lives until now, and how God is helping them take their next step in life.

"RUN is more of an album title, it's a statement about this season of our lives. We've spent a lot of years walking, sometimes stumbling through doors of opportunity as God has opened them one by one. You could liken our early career to an individual living by paycheck to paycheck. We've set our eyes on some new goals and dreams, and with Gods help, we're ready to run", stated Sanctus Real in a interview with Worship Leader.

Run was made under the expectation to be able to give the fans a whole new interpretation of the band itself, but also to really open up their hearts and feel connected with God. With having other famous artists as Toby Mac, Jason Ingram, and Seth Mosley(Newsboys) help produce this last record, Sanctus real stated that "Each of our producers bring out different strengths and weaknesses in the band members, from writing arrangements to performances. Each one of those guys have have stretched us to be better individually and as a band". 

Sanctus Real recently just finished up their "Promises" tour that featured Unspoken, JJ Heller, and Bread of Stone. The tour began on Valentines Day and ended on St. Patrick's Day in Nebraska.
