The New Orleans Saints will go toe-to-toe with the San Francisco 49ers on November 9 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

New Orleans are attempting to extend their current winning streak to three games when they defend their home field against the evenly matched team form San Francisco this Saturday.

The Saints (4-4) recently defeated the Carolina Panthers by a final score of 28-10 on October 30, a game where New Orleans QB Drew Brees went 24-34 for 297 yards, highlighted by a touchdown and an interception.

"Man, it's when our offense is at its best," said Brees to reporters in reference to his team's successful offense versus the Panthers.

Saints running back Mark Ingram echoed his teammate's sentiments regarding their squad's most recent victory, highlighted by his 100 rushing yard performance and scoring two touchdowns.

"The offensive line and tight end did a great job of hitting them, hitting them and hitting them," said Ingram to reporters.

"I think they started to wear down and we were able to get some leaky yards and some big gains."

Meanwhile, the 49ers (4-4) are looking to prevent a potential three game losing streak when they meet the Saints on Sunday.

San Francisco previously lost to the St. Louis Ram by a score of 13-10, where QB Colin Kaepernick fumbled the ball at the goal line with 2 seconds remaining in the game when he failed to help his team get the victory this past Sunday.

Saints free safety Eric Reid believes his team must improve from their previous performance (where Kapernick was sacked a whopping eight times) in order to prevail against the Saints in the 'Bayou State'.

"You could point fingers at anybody," said Reid to reporters.

"But that's not what we're going to do. We're going to keep our focus on making the playoffs. We have to keep being persistent."
