The San Francisco 49ers will face with the Arizona Cardinals on December 28 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

The 49ers (7-8) are attempting to avoid a possible five game losing streak when they defend their home field against their NFC West adversary Cardinals on Sunday afternoon.

"Hopefully, I'll be back," said San Francisco RB Frank Gore to reporters in reference to possibly playing his final game as a member of the 49ers.

"The organization, they love me and they respect me. I want to be back ... I was raised here. I don't know nothing else."

Recently, San Francisco lost to the San Diego Chargers by a final score of 38-35, where QB Colin Kaepernick went 15-24 for 114 yards with a touchdown pass in addition to being sacked by San Diego's defense two times on December 20.

"What will happen will happen, what won't happen won't happen," said San Francisco head coach Jim Harbaugh to reporters.

"Like the players, like the coaches, we're dedicated to doing our job, finish what you start. That's the mindset."

Meanwhile, the Cardinals (11-4) are looking to prevent a possible two game losing streak after their recent 35-6 loss versus the Seattle Seahawks (on December 21), when Arizona encounters the 49ers this Sunday.

"It's not the end of the world," said Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians to reporters.

"Obviously, we would have liked to have it the easy way, but our goals haven't changed."
