San Diego Comic-Con 2014 Schedule, Date, Time, and Events [PREVIEW]
The San Diego Comic-Con is a yearly event focusing primarily on comic book circles. The event traces its origins back to 1970 when a group of comic book, science fiction, and movie fans decided to create a convention to spread interest for it. Since then, it has enjoyed widespread acclaim and is attracting thousands of attendees every year.
This year's comic-con will be held on July 24-27 at the San Diego Convention Center. As with the previous years, the convention will feature guest artists and personalities from the comic-book, animation, and movie circles.
For four days, the programs will run from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. EST. For the duration of the convention, various events will be held simultaneously ranging from new television programs, panels featuring guest artists, as well as book and figurine signings.
Special guests will include Bryan Lee O'malley, known for his popular bestseller the 'Scott Pilgrim vs. The World'. Jim Lee, renowned comic-book artist known for his graphic novels and comics including 'Justice League' and 'Batman: Hush' among others, will be making his appearance as well.
A dozen or so more artists will be making their appearance at the SDCC and a full list can be found here.
For those who wish to see their comic books or figurine signed, a dedicated signing area will be located under the Sails Pavilion and will have corresponding schedules and times, which can be seen here.
The SDCC will also have a games section, mostly focusing on trading card games and tabletop games, with schedules and times here.
Loads of other special events will be occurring during the convention, and a full list of the schedule can be read here.
