The San Diego Chargers goes toe-to-toe versus the Oakland Raiders on October 12 at the O.co Coliseum in Oakland, California.

The Chargers (4-1) are looking to extend their winning streak to five games after their dominant 31-0 win versus the New York Jets (this past Sunday), when QB Phillip Rivers and the rest of the San Diego squad battles with their familiar foe, the Raiders, this weekend.

Chargers head coach Mike McCoy discussed the multiple injuries his players have had so far this year.

"We work a bunch of them," said McCoy to reporters, "We're going to play the healthiest guy who helps us win."

"We might hit a bump in the road going forward, but I think our toughness has been shown the last five weeks," said Rivers to reporters.

Meanwhile, the terrible Oakland Raiders (0-4) are looking to win their first game of the season (after losing by a final score of 38-14 to the Miami Dolphins on September 28), when they try to end their four game losing streak this Sunday versus their AFC West divisional foe the San Diego Chargers.

Newest Raiders head coach Tony Sparano talked about his team's overall 10-game losing streak (dating back to last season) and how he plans to fix the struggling football team.

"The things that we're not doing well we're just not going to continue to do," said Sparano to reporters.

"There's no sense in putting a square peg in a round hole right now."
