The game starts at 1:00 pm ET and can be watched online through live stream via the link provided below (free for subscribers).

The Chiefs (8-7) are looking to prevent a possible two game losing streak after their recent 20-12 loss against the Pittsburgh Steelers (on December 21), before Kansas City defends their home field versus their AFC West foe Chargers this Sunday.

"We don't necessarily control our own destiny, and the whole 'what-ifs' and 'what do we need to have happen,' it's easy to get distracted," said Kansas City QB Alex Smith to reporters.

"The thing will be to focus in on the Chargers, a division game, them coming in, and we need to take care of our business."

Meanwhile, the Chargers (9-6) are trying to extend their winning streak to two games when they battle the Chiefs at the Arrowhead Stadium.

The Chargers defeated the San Francisco 49ers by a final score of 38-35 this past Saturday, a game where San Diego QB Phillip Rivers went 33-54 for 356 yards with four touchdown passes and three interceptions in the victory.

"We just got going and fell into a rhythm," said Rivers to reporters.

"At halftime, we didn't know if we could come all the way back, but we were going to fight. That's who we are."

San Diego kicker Nick Novak sealed the victory in overtime when he kicked the game winning 40-yard field goal versus the 49ers.

"What a comeback. It's one of the greatest I've been a part of, and it keeps us alive," said Novak to reporters.

"To kick the game winner, do-or-die kick ... loved being in that moment."
