The San Antonio Spurs (3-1) will face off against the Portland Trail Blazers (1-3) at the AT&T Center tonight in San Antonio.

The Spurs are attempting to close out the second round playoff series by defeating the Trail Blazers Wednesday night, after losing to Portland by a score of 103-92 on Monday night. In Game 4, Tony Parker scored 14 points in a losing effort for San Antonio.

"You have to give a lot of credit to Portland," said Parker to reporters after the game when Trail Blazers' player Nicolas Batum totaled 14 points, 14 rebounds and 8 assists versus the Spurs. "They played great, they came out of the gates. Batum was great, he gave them a big boost. He got on the boards and was everywhere."

The Trail Blazers meanwhile will be looking to avoid being eliminated from postseason contention by the Spurs in the second round series. In Game 4, Damian Lillard scored 25 points to lead the Trail Blazers to the victory two nights ago.

The Trail Blazers have not won an NBA championship since 1977 and they are in a win-or-go home position, where they must win three games in a row in order to keep their dreams of winning a second title in franchise history.

"We are confident," said Portland player Wesley Matthews to reporters. "Someone has to make history at some time. Might as well be us."
