San Antonio Spurs VS Memphis Grizzlies ONLINE LIVE STREAM: Watch Game 2, Western Conference Finals Live Feed From San Antonio
San Antonio Spurs vs. Memphis Grizzlies at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN.
Let's face it. The Memphis Grizzlies got dominated by the San Antonio Spurs Sunday in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals. The Grizzlies have now lost Game 1 in the previous two series. It worked out for them against the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Los Angeles Clippers. But can it work with the season, well-coached San Antonio Spurs.
One thing is for sure. To beat the Spurs, Zach Randolph will need to improve his game in the paint. Randolph's been arguably the best player in this year's playoffs averaging 18.3 points per game and 9.1 rebounds. That talent disappeared in Game 1 against the Spurs and Randolph only scored 2 points in the entire game. He started 0-8 from the field, scoring his first and only points with 9:26 left in the 4th quarter. Most of Randolph's misses were from the lane.
To beat the Spurs tonight, the Grizzlies need to play their game and find a way for Marc Gasol to feed the ball to Randolph. In Game 1 the Popovich coached his team to block pass attempts to Randolph letting Gasol try to work his mid-range shot. This is usually what you have to do against good teams. Let the take longer shots. Just don't let them in the paint. That's when momentum shifts
Game time is scheduled for 9 p.m. ET. If you can't watch the game on TV you can try a live stream on ESPN 3 or Watch ESPN.
