The San Antonio Spurs and Chicago Bulls have continued their current playoff runs with dramatic wins versus the two-time defending NBA champion Miami Heat last week.

The Spurs will attempt to win their seventh straight win in a row and their 14th win in their last 17 games since they were defeated by the Bulls in late January.

San Antonio won by the final score of 111-87 at home versus the Heat on Thursday in an NBA finals rematch prior to Chicago defeating the Heat by the final score of 95-88 in overtime Sunday afternoon to put the defending World Champions on the verge of losing four consecutive games for the first time in three years.

The victory for the Spurs avenged a 113-101 defeat to Miami on Jan. 26 that started a three-game losing streak which ended with a 96-86 defeat to the Bulls three days later. It was the only time this season San Antonio has lost 3 consecutive games. It also snapped a stretch of five losses in seven games, including against Portland, Oklahoma City and Houston.

The Bulls have won six of their last seven games at home after defeating Miami for their 11th win in the last 14 games overall. Joakim Noah had 20 points and 12 rebounds, D.J. Augustin scored 22 and Jimmy Butler forced a critical turnover by LeBron James at the end of regulation to force overtime.

"I want what they have - a championship," said Noah referring to the Heat adding. "One day, we're going to have to get through those guys."
