Samsung Note 3 Release Date? Rumors, Specs, and Possible Timeline for the New Samsung Smartphone
Over the past couple of weeks, the tech world has been abuzz about various rumors about the Galaxy Note 3. The first and second generations of this Samsung Galaxy Note were very well received. With this success, it's very unlikely that Samsung won't capitalize by releasing another Note soon.
While no one knows exactly when the Galaxy Note 3 will be released, most have previously speculated a release for later this year. We can't get exact release dates from Samsung, since they haven't even "officially" announced that the handset exists. Or ever will exist. But, we might have a bit of new information.
According to the latest rumor, an "unnamed Samsung official" has confirmed the existence of this device. If this rumor is indeed true, this will be the first time that anyone from Samsung has spoken out and affirmed the existence of the new device, currently in (speculated) development.
The rumor comes from ETNews and it cites a "Samsung official" as a source. But the "source" doesn't stop there. Apart from confirming that Galaxy Note 3 does exist, the source gave us some details about the camera too. The source claims that the Samsung Note 3 will have a 13 megapixel camera with "optical image stabilization" and 3x optical zoom. The official word is that Samsung hasn't made a final decision yet on the camera.
It is expected that the Samsung Note 3 will make an appearance at the IFA trade show, where all previous Note devices have been unveiled. Look for more information at the event, which takes place in Berlin this September.
