Samsung is currently working on a developing a line of flexibleOLED displays for its 2013 smartphone range, which could hitshelves in the next few months, according to the recent report.

The paper claims Samsung is looking to reduce investment inits liquid crystal display (LCD) division to focus on organiclight-emitting diode (OLED) and plastic-based flexible displays,which can be bent and twisted, which are rumored to beunveiled in early 2013.

Pricing on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is yet to even berumored, but we think it will probably be more expensive thanthe Galaxy Note 2. After all, the screen is much larger.Taking the price change between the 5-inch Galaxy Note and5.5-inch Galaxy Note 5-inch into account, we think it could bearound the $800 mark, which is a pretty hefty price to pay fora Smartphone that's more a tablet, but designed to be a phone. Yep, confuses us too. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is slated to hitshelves at $800 [without contract].

The Samsung Galaxy Notes really are the original 'phablet'.The Note 2 measured in at 5.95 x 3.17 x 0.37-inch, which isridiculously big for a smartphone and if the rumors are to bebelieved the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be even bigger. Exactdimensions haven't surfaced yet, but what has been leaked sofar is the potential screen size for the Note 3.

Another report published in the Korean Times is claiming thatthe Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will have a whopping 6.3-inchdisplay. To put that into perspective, the already big-screenedGalaxy Note 2 has only a 5.55-inch screen, while other popularsmartphones such as the Galaxy S3 and iPhone 5 have 4.8-inchand 4-inch displays respectively.

The Korean Times report didn't stop there, it went on to predictthat "Samsung plans to use the Octa core processor in theupcoming 6.3-inch Galaxy Note 3".

Samsung is widely expected to keep the storage options thesame for the Galaxy Note 3, offering the device with either16GB or 32GB of flash memory, while keeping the removableSD slot to allow up to 64GB of micro SD XC storage too.
