Although Samsung has yet to officially confirm the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 launch date, speculation is rife that the Korean tech titan will announce the release of this upcoming flagship tablet on September 3, just two days ahead of the IFA 2014.

In fact, Samsung has kept the device's launch date top secret, as its competitors such as Apple and LG are also scheduled to launch a number of their devices around the same time.

Nevertheless, there is great excitement among the fans, who are eager to know the specs of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0. According to latest news, the device will come with a 1280 x 800 resolution and have an 8-inch display with 189 pixel density. The tablet will be powered by Samsung's quad core processor of 1.2GHz, in addition to 1.5GB RAM.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 will have an internal storage of 16GB that can be expanded up to 64GB using a microSD expansion slot.

According to one report, the Galaxy Note 4 may come with the QHD (1440p) display, as Samsung has already tested a similar screen resolution in Galaxy S5 LTE-A, but only in Korea.

Additionally, the upcoming tablet will run on Android 4.4.2 KitKat, while TouchWiz has been added to offer the user suitable, as well as friendly Samsung software. As far as the camera is concerned, the tablet is equipped with two cameras. The first camera has 3 megapixels, while the second camera is the 1.3 megapixel camera.

As it stands, Samsung has not officially stated the price of the upcoming device. However, due to the mid-ranged specs of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, it should be fairly affordable.
