Samsung Galaxy S7 vs LG G5: LG Challenges To Beat Samsung On Specs? Price Revealed

LG and Samsung are two South Korean giants in the world of mobile technology. While the competition between their flagship phones might be in heat, some cannot help themselves but compare the newest devices- the Samsung Galaxy S7 and LG G5.

A report written by News4c noted that Samsung was able to surpass LG in terms of mobile technology, while the latter shines more in terms of appliances and other products. However, LG's destiny could change because of G5.

Both of the devices are anticipated to be revealed at the much-awaited Mobile World Congress on Feb. 21. As for the comparison, LG G5 is rumored to sport a 5.3-inch screen, with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The device is also expected have the Snapdragon 820 processor, and will come out with a 2800mAh battery.

The G5 is also said to have 16-megapixel rear camera with an 8-megapixel selfie snapshot feature and a wide-angled lens. It will be a Dual LTE SIM device that runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy S7 will likely be a water-resistant device, as reported by Tech Radar. The site also claims that Samsung's new flagship handset could be built from magnesium based alloy. More than that, the Galaxy S7 might come with a 5.1-inch display and a pixel resolution of 1440 x 2560.

As for internal specs, according to the same report, the camera could sport a 16-megapixel rear snapshot, and it could come in two different variants - one with an Exynos chipset and another with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820. 

Regarding the price, Samsung Galaxy S7 will likely cost around $650 which is relatively cheaper than LG G5 at $900.

Tech savvy people might have a hard time deciding which phone to purchase between LG and Samsung because of both device's highly advanced specs. It remains to be seen which company bags the most profit.
