Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 Edge, S7 Edge Plus Release Date, Specs Details

Samsung will release a variety of the Galaxy S7 flagship on February 21, 2016. According to Evan Blass (via News4c), the names of the product will be Samsung Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Plus, Galaxy S7 Edge and Galaxy S7 Edge Plus.

The product might include a feature like that ones that the i-Phone already has - the "Live Photos." According to the IB Times, Samsung will name this product "Vivid Photos." It was reported that unlike "Live Photos," "Vivid Photos" will not include the sounds in this feature. The photos taken through that feature can automatically be uploaded to Facebook as a GIF.

There is a chance that this feature may not be put in the product in time for the February 21 release. If that happens, Samsung will just include it on its next software update. There is no official announcement from Samsung yet about this so we just have to wait for further updates regarding this matter.

Rumor has it that Samsung Galaxy S7 will have a 5.1 inch screen with Super Amoled display with 1440 x 2560 pixel QHD resolution.

Both Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will have a 12 mega pixel camera at the back and a five mega pixel camera at the front for selfies and video communications.

The Galaxy S7 was said to have a 3000 mAh battery while the Galaxy S7 Edge would have 3600 mAh. The product line may have either an Exynos 8 octa-coreSoC processor or a Snapdragon 820SoC processor. The eight processors was said to clock at 2.3GHz while the other four to clock at 1.6GHz.
