Smartphones have become a commoditiy as they become the most leading bought technology around the world. The mini-computers that are handheld, provide a large array of apps, utensils, and devices that allow consmers to make their everyday life simply easier. According to CNET, the smartphone market has seen it's highest global shipments during the third-quarter. With over 250-million smartphones shipped across the world, its has become a new world record. 

The new Samsung Galaxy S5 is currently in the making as is Apple's new iPhone 6 and they both are said to be released in early Spring of 2014. The latest release of the iPhone 5S and Samsung Galaxy S4 have become the adversaries of eachother as Samsung has so far completely blown Apple out of the water with sells. Samsung has shipped a record high of 88.4 million units of smartphones, with Apple shipping a total of 33.2 million units of iPhones.

However, Samsung has just recently released that they are now stepping forward with the 64-bit processor in their phones just like Apple has, so the technology of the two phones may be completely the same come this Spring. Yes, Apple doesn't have as much gadgets that Samsung provides for their smartphones, but they still are the leading innovative group in the country. Both phones are said to have a sleeker, thinner, new design that tops the next two generations of phones from each company.
