In terms of processing power, the Galaxy S5 as well as HTC One M8 is equally matched. Similarly, there is no remarkable difference between Galaxy S5's 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 processor having 2GB RAM, and the 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 processor with 2GB RAM on the HTC One M8.

The camera of the Galaxy S5 is superior to that of HTC One M8. The Galaxy S5 has a built-in 16MP rear camera, while the camera of One M8 is only limited to 4MP. Nevertheless, the HTC One M8 camera is tuned to take pictures like a pro, but it is certainly not equal to that of the Galaxy S5. However, it is sure to get the job done.

All things considered, these are the few major indicators that can be compared between the two devices. In fact, the Samsung smartphone has much more to offer, including the fingerprint sensor and the heart rate scanner. On the other hand, the HTC One M8 is among the most aesthetically clean devices on the market.
