Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Problems: Battery Drop, Overheating, & More

Developer trends seem to be leaning toward bigger and bigger smart phone devices, but recently come consumer have been looking for smaller handsets.

The popularity of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini was a clear indicator that some smart phone users prefer something that can fit in their palm. The smaller size of the device comes at the price of its specs and its battery efficiency.

One of the 4.3 Inch Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini's most prevalent issues is the massive battery drop that users are reporting. Beyond that, the next problem would be how the device overheats which is a major hazard.

With average use, the aforementioned problems wouldn't be nearly as severe as an extreme user. Average Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini customers range around three days worth of power backup in their batteries.

Aesthetically, the phone resembles it's big brother, the Samsung Galaxy S4, which seems to be a popular smart device.

Another issue with the Mini is that in order to access the SIM card or micro SD reader, one must pull out the battery. Also, the 8 GB storage cuts it very close as the OS and Touch Wiz UI occupy most of that space.

The final complaint involves the screen as it has only 256 pixels per inch, which is a major drop from the standard 1080p.
