Samsung Galaxy S4, Galaxy S5 Android KitKat 4.4.3 Update Should Be Arriving Soon - Latest Rumors
The hugely anticipated Android KitKat 4.4.3 update is rumored to be arriving in late May, although those rumors have still not had any confirmation from Google itself.
Samsung is reportedly pushing hard for the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S5 to receive the update as soon as possible once it is officially out in the market, and with only a few days left until the end of the month, SamMobile has leaked a seemingly legit document revealing a number of Samsung models apparently set to receive the upcoming Android OS.
In a Twitter post by renowned HTC analyst LlabTooFer, the Android KitKat 4.4.3 update will fix major and minor issues including random reboots, poor camera focus, camera continuously running on Skype, random missed calls, internet instability, and problems with VPN connectivity.
Among other Samsung units that are set to receive the latest Android OS include the Samsung Note 2 (LTE), Galaxy S3 (LTE), Galaxy S4 Mini, and Galaxy Note 3 Neo.
However, GT-I9300, GT-N7105, SM-N750, and GT-I910 models will have to wait for firmware center approval before launching the update on these specific handsets.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 will skip the 4.4.2 OS and go straight to the latest KitKat update.
Devices sold in India and other Southeast Asian countries can get their upgrades from respective mobile carriers or stores. Some models of HTC, Sony Xperia, and Motorola are also eligible for the Android KitKat 4.4.3 but the release dates are again not yet available.
