Samsung Galaxy Note Edge Release Date Rumors, News: Features Curved Display at $1000 Price?
After a highly successful year for Samsung Galaxy Note 3, the makers of the massively popular Korean phablet gear up for the upcoming release of another much-awaited Samsung flagship phone, the Galaxy Note Edge.
According to reports, the Galaxy Note Edge will be the first handheld to be released by Samsung which will be featuring the Korean tech giant's curved display technology and a 5.6-inch Super AMOLED screen which possesses the capability of displaying 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is also said to be featuring an Exynos 5 Octa 5433 with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 SoC. The innovative phablet will reportedly be available in two memory variants, 32GB and 64GB, and its memory is expandable to up to 128GB via micro SDXC in both variants.
Apart from its promising hardware features, the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge will reportedly be holding a 16MP main BSI camera capable of recording in 4K resolution, and a 3.7MP front-facing camera, similar to that of also to-be-released Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge will reportedly be launched under the Android 4.4.4 KitKat platform, but will definitely be upgradeable to Google's much-awaited Android 5.0 L update.
According to reports, retail stores have already started taking pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, which appears to be a clear indication that its release is just around the corner. The innovative phablet from Samsung may not come cheap as its retail price is rumored to start somewhere around $1,000.
