Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Release Date, Price and Specs Rumors: New Device to Arrive September 3 at Unpacked 2014 Berlin
Samsung has confirmed that it will be launching its latest smartphone, the Galaxy Note 4, at an Unpacked 2014 event on September 3.
Earlier in August, Samsung sent out media invites to an Unpacked 2014 event in Berlin to be held alongside satellite events in New York and Beijing. While Samsung is still mum about the Galaxy Note 4, it is almost certain now that the ensuing event will revolve around the Galaxy Note 4 and possibly, several other devices.
For the past several months, numerous rumors and speculations have been circulating on the Internet regarding the release date, specs and price. Now that we are closer to the Fall and to September, fans have a general idea regarding what they can expect from the latest Samsung offering.
Price
In most countries, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is being retailed for around $730. This price will drop as the launch of Galaxy Note 4 draws closer. Therefore, it is presumed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will be priced in the $750 range, which is somewhat costly for any smartphone or phablet. If the device is priced higher, it would make the consumers think whether the device is worth its price. In any case, the price of Galaxy Note 4 will not cross the $800 mark.
Specs and Features
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is expected to come with True Octa-core processor on Exynos 64-bit chipset or big.LITTLE 16-core Exynos 64-bit chipset. The device will have a 5.7-inch display, true 2K resolution (2160p) display, but wouldn't be 3D or flexible. However, this device may come with a curved edge display.
It is now confirmed that Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will have 4GB RAM, while the new phablet may debut with a 128GB on board storage version. It will have a 21MP ISOCELL rear facing sensor along with 4G and Dual channel Wi-Fi capabilities. Powered by Android, Galaxy Note 4 will come with a 3600 mAh to 3800 mAh battery.
The other features of Galaxy Note 4 include a new 16MP camera with Optical Image Stabilization, a fingerprint reader, a UV sensor that measures sunlight and new software that will help to distinguish it from the Galaxy Note 3.
