Samsung Galaxy S4 Specs: Samsung Explains LowStorage By Telling The Customers To Buy SD Card
The Galaxy S4 proudly runs Android 4.2.2 beneath itsvery highly customized Touch Wiz interface. Argue thepluses and minuses of stock Android versus overlay allyou want -- Touch Wiz has long looked outdated andstale, but Samsung's pile of software lets the GS4 goplaces that a stock Android phone can't even dream aboutrooting and mods.
     In a new display setting, Samsung attempts to correctan old complaint about certain colors, like green,looking too saturated. In the screen mode settings, youcan choose to let the GS4 auto-adjust the color tonedepending on what you're looking at.
There are a few other important things to note about theGalaxy S4's display besides color and sharpness.
Features layout
     The phone's screen is a big deal, no doubt, other mostinteresting new real estate lies north of its display.
A 2-megapixel front-facing camera sits in the upper-right corner, neighbored to the left by ambient light andproximity sensors. To the left of the speaker grill is thephone's IR, or infrared, sensor. There's also an LEDindicator at the top left corner. This will glow or blinkgreen, red, or blue to indicate certain activities.
     Essentially, Samsung is saying the problem is onlyslightly worse than it was on last year's Galaxy S3, andyou weren't complaining then. Besides, you're getting abetter display, and you can buy an SD card if you reallyneed more storage. Right?
So the company isn't particularly mollified. In fact,consumers have been complaining about this kind offalse advertising for years, but most people just factorthat into their calculations when buying tech. Andperhaps that's the point of the obfuscation: get peopleworried enough about storage and they might just decideto upgrade to the more expensive model.
