The Rutgers Scarlet Knights will battle the Nebraska Cornhuskers on October 25 at the Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, NE.

The Scarlet Knights (5-2) are looking to avoid a two game losing streak when they face their fellow Big Ten opponents the Cornhuskers on Saturday.

"It's an exciting weekend for us -- exciting week for us I should say with a tremendous opponent on Saturday, a tremendous challenge to go on the road to what I think is probably one of the great venues for college football," said Rutgers head coach Kyle Flood to reporters.

"Out there at Nebraska they've got a tremendous string of sellouts. I'm sure this will be another one and a hostile environment."

Rutgers were demolished by their divisional rivals the Ohio State Buckeyes by a final score of 56-17, after Scarlet Knights QB Gary Nova converted 17 out of 28 passes for 192 yards, highlighted by a interception on October 18.

Meanwhile, the Cornhuskers (6-1) are looking to win two consecutive games after their most recent win against their fellow Big Ten West foe the Northwestern Wildcats by 38-17 this past Saturday.

Nebraska explosive running back Ameer Abdullah is hoping his squad can stay undefeated at home (4-0) after he recently became the first running back in team history to tally at least 1,000-yard in three seasons.

"It doesn't mean anything if we don't win the rest of these games," said Abdullah to reporters.
