Rolling Stones Tour 2013: Date for First Show in L.A. Announced / Second Hyde Park Show Added with Jake Bugg / Discounted Tickets Available

The Rolling Stones recently announced more dates for their "50 and Counting" 2013 North American Tour, including the band playing the Glastonbury Festival and Hyde Park this summer. "50 and Counting" kicks of in Los Angeles, and the second show in London.

The Rolling Stones couldn't release any official information regarding the first show at the Staples Center in Los Angeles due to scheduling conflicts with the NHL playoffs that take place in early May. Stones fans on the West coast, you finally have an official date. May 2nd the Rolling Stones play in Los Angeles as the first stop of the tour.

As with any major rock star tour, the May 2nd date is subject to change depending on the outcome of the NBA and/or NHL playoffs. Apparently, not even Mick Jagger is more important than Kobe Bryant come playoff time.

In related Rolling Stones updates, the band added a second Hyde Park date after the first show (July 6th) sold out in a few minutes. Tickets for the second Hyde Park show (July 13th) go on sale April 12th at 9 a.m.

Good luck affording the tickets. The Rolling Stones responded to fan complaints that the tickets were far too expensive by slashing over 1,000 tickets per show to a general sale price of $85. Other tickets range anywhere from $150 to $600.
