Robin Williams' Funeral To Be Picketed By Westboro Baptist Church
Following the tragic loss of comedy legend Robin Williams, thousands have done their best to offer tribute to the man who made them laugh time and time again. However, all were not so heartfelt as recent reports claim that a notoriously hateful group intends to picket Williams' funeral.
A number of people from the Westboro Baptist Church, based in Kansas, have taken their hatred for the actor to the social media. Using their Twitter account, @WBCSays, the group has expressed loathing for the dead as they have tweeted posts that called Williams as a "F*g enabler", adding that Williams had "mocked God" and that the actor is now "in hell".
The hate group has previously picketed funerals of soldiers and famous celebrities including the late Michael Jackson. Its founding family has previously been banned from entering the United Kingdom due to their hateful advocacy. Recent posts from WBC include pictures from its members holding pickets with hateful messages aimed towards the late Robin Williams.
Members of the group have already announced that they intend to picket at Williams' funeral, but have not disclosed how they intend to go about it. Posts from their Twitter account repeatedly asked for information on the 'Good Will Hunting' actor's funeral, presumably because they'd like to take this specific picket to a venue of some sorts.
Robin Williams died at the age of 63 after hanging himself in a bedroom at his Marin, California residence, he was a father to three.
