Robin Williams Death Details: Zelda Williams Quits Twitter and Instagram After Facing Harassment Online (VIDEO)

In latest Robin Williams news, the late comedian's only daughter Zelda Williams has just announced that she will quit Twitter and Instagram after she faced negative comments online while mourning her father's sudden death.

"I will be leaving this account for a [sic] but while I heal and decide if I'll be deleting it or not. In this difficult time, please try to be respectful of the accounts of myself, my family and my friends," wrote Zelda on Instagram with a photo of butterfly.

"Mining our accounts for photos of dad, or judging me on the number of them is cruel and unnecessary. There are a couple throughout, but the real private moments I shared with him were precious, quiet, and believe it or not, not full of photos or 'selfies'.

The 25-year-old daughter of the legendary actor also talked about her father's irreplaceable mark on the entertainment world in a career that spanned four decades.

"I shared him with a world where everyone was taking their photo with him, but I was lucky enough to spend time with him without cameras too," wrote Zelda.

"That was more than enough, and I'm grateful for what little time I had. My favorite photos of family are framed in my house, not posted on social media, and they'll remain there...Thank you for your respect and understanding in this difficult time. Goodbye. Xo," she stated.

In addition, Zelda also went on another social media network in order to discuss some of the negative message that she received online.

"I'm sorry. I should've risen above. Deleting this from my devices for a good long time, maybe forever. Time will tell. Goodbye," wrote Zelda via Twitter.

Before Zelda's father committed suicide (by hanging himself after cutting his left wrist with a pocket knife) on August 11, 2014 (at the age of 63), he made the following comment when he was asked "If heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say at the pearly gates?" many years ago:

"They're seating me at the front. The concert will begin at five [o'clock], it will be Mozart, Elvis and one of your choosing," said Williams to Inside the Actors Studio's host James Lipton in 2001.

"Or just nice if Heaven exists, to know there's laughter. Just to hear God go, 'Two Jews walk into a bar...'"

Williams is survived by his third wife Susan Schneider and his three children Zachary, Cody and Zelda.
