The Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart saga continues. After the highly-publicized break up, following Kristen Stewart's cheating scandal with director Rupert Sanders, actor Robert Pattinson admitted that he still keeps in touch with his ex-girlfriend. Twilight fans might see a glimmer of hope alive, but dim, in the pair's former romance, but sources say that the communication will remain strictly platonic.

In his interview with Hollywood Reporter, the 28-year-old English actor and model briefly answered "Oh yeah" when asked if he still maintains contact with the actress.

Though he did not provide any sort of explanation, Celebrity Dirty Laundry presumed that Pattinson might have moved on from the Kristen-Rupert issue in 2012.

Amidst the growing interest of the crowd, Daily Mail UK reported that The Rover's lead actor has kept quiet when asked questions about Stewart. 

Speculation that Robert and Kristen are in for a sexual or rebound relationship are not yet confirmed, and the conclusions are left up to public scrutiny.

The two were expected to meet face to face at the recent Cannes Film Festival, but a source, related to Stewart, said that the actress attended the event only after her former lover had departed from the scene.

"Kristen avoided coming to Cannes until Rob had left. She does not want to party with Rob right now, he's really hurt her," Hollywood Life reported.

Meanwhile, both Rob and Kristen are busy on their respective acting careers with new films Clouds of Sils Maria, The Rover, and Maps to the Stars.

It is also rumored that Pattinson was chosen to replace Harrison Ford's iconic role in the fifth installment of Indiana Jones and even Star Wars' Han Solo, according to Hollywood Life. Details are still to be cleared by both camps.
