A real life romance between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart may be a thing of the past, but that did not stop Robsten from participating in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge recently.

Though the former couple did it separately, there is no question that the videos showing Pattinson and Stewart's support of ALS global awareness have become viral.

Nominated by Zac Efron, 28-year-old Pattinson completed the challenge on Wednesday, but had to improvise out of short notice. Consequently, the 'Twilight' actor poured in a pot of ice cubes on his head while being sprayed with a hose. Afterwards, he passed on the challenge to singer Marilyn Manson and Guy Pearce and Mia Wasikowska, his co-stars from 'The Rover' and 'Maps to the Stars' respectively.

Stewart, on the other hand, deviated from the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge norm by opting to dunk her face in a pail of dirty bath water. She was joined with rumored boyfriend Nicholas Hoult and a friend, Scott Fahrendorf.

The homemade video, which was posted on Youtube on Thursday, called out Anne Hathway, Jackie Weaver ('Silver Linings Playbook'), Brie Larson ('The Spectacular Now'), and Max Thieriot ('Bates Motel') as well as singer Jenny Lewis.

Consequently, Hoult nominated Joe Dempsie ('Game of Thrones'), Craig Roberts ('Skins'), and Colin Firth ('The King's Speech').
