Fans of Twilight on-again-off-again lovebirds Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have always wondered if the tempestuous twosome's relationship has any hope of being rekindled.

Apparently, the only hold up to their reconciliation is caused by Pattinson's close friend, Katy Perry. According to Life and Style, Pattinson is definitely planning to reunite with his girlfriend. The tabloid claims that Perry is "the main thing standing in the way" of the former Twilight stars' romance.

An insider told the magazine that "Katy has told Rob that she thinks it's a really bad idea for him to reunite with Kristen". Despite reportedly being friends with the 24-year old actress, the report goes on to claim that Perry has warned Pattinson that "Kristen will end up hurting him again."

Other people who are close to the British actor are also rumored to be against him rekindling his three-year romance. A source said that "all of Rob's pals are worried that he will make the same mistake again".

The Life and Style report comes one week after rumors surfaced that Pattinson and Stewart were secretly dating and that they spent the night at her Los Angeles home after the premiere of The Rover.

Meanwhile, In Touch magazine reports that although Pattinson is still in love with Stewart, he's not interested in dating her exclusively. A source for the magazine said that he's having fun at the moment and is not looking to be in a committed relationship right now.

Pattinson was last seen "on the prowl for a girlfriend" at a Fourth of July celebration in Malibu. Meanwhile, Stewart was spotted attending the Chanel Haute Couture show in Paris last Tuesday, where she showed off a new, shorter hair style.
