Exciting new reports have just come out announcing that Robert Downey Jr. and his wife Susan have welcomed their first daughter into the world and named her Avri Roel Downey.

'The Judge' actor's daughter joins the couple's son, 2 ½ year old Exton Elias Downey and Downey's 21-year old son Indio from a former marriage with Deborah Falconer.

Downey Jr. announced their daughter's arrival today on Facebook.

 "Yep...Avri Roel Downey joined the party @ 3:22 a.m. on November 4th...she's 7lbs even, spans 20 inches, and is accompanied by a variety of Susan's traits that have seemingly overwritten my "junk DNA." I'll post pics here + there when I'm not too busy staring..."

Downey Jr. took to Twitter back in July 2014 to announce his third child. He also posted another message in Facebook, saying, "I don't know if it's a 'man's world,' but I'm certain women run it. Susan and I are therefore delighted to announce we are expecting a baby. Girl," the 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' star proudly revealed.

"I've never had a daughter before, so I don't know what really prepares a dad. I'm asking around. But I did my part and now I'm just going to show up and do what I'm told," he later told E! News.

During his acceptance speech the BAFTA Los Angeles Jaguar Britannia Awards, where he grabbed the Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award for Excellence in Film, Downey paid tribute to his pregnant wife, complimenting her and asking her to stand and show herself to the audience.

"How is she still so darn pretty and functional and mood-stable?" the actor joked.

Downey Jr. further thanked his wife and said she was the reason he won the award.

"For the safety of herself and others, I firmly believe that she rigged it for me to get this thing so I'll be distracted by the implications just long enough for her to get through labor and deliver our baby girl," he said.
