RHONJ Teresa Giudice News: Former Reality Star Releases Excerpts From Prison Diary

Since she has been in prison, 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' star Teresa Giudice has been going to church and praying for an early release, according to excerpts from her diary.

The mother of four has been incarcerated since January 5th in the Federal Correctional Facility in Danbury, Connecticut, after she was sentenced by a judge to serve fifteen months in prison after being convicted of bankruptcy fraud.

In newly released excerpts from her prison diary, the television stars open up about life in prison, and says that she feels that she is being guided by God's presence. "Great mass," said the Bravo reality television star.

"I enjoy [going to church], it makes me feel good after I go and during. I feel like God is really present there with me." Giudice has had recent visits to prison from her friends and family, including her husband, who is scheduled to begin serving his sentence upon her release in December, and their daughters, Gia, Gabriella, Miliania and Audriana.

"I called the girls after school today," wrote the star. "I miss them so much. They are all I think about all day long, and I pray that God helps me to go back home to be with my daughters and my husband. Please God, help me."

Giudice and her husband became stars on 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' in 2009 as a fun loving and family oriented Italian American couple from New Jersey.

Last year, they were sentenced to a combined four plus years in federal prison after pleading guilty to charges of mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud. Joe Giudice also pleaded guilty to tax fraud.
