'Revenge' Season 4 Spoilers, News, Review: Series Should Have Ended By Now?

"Repercussions," the fifth episode in the fourth season of 'Revenge', showcased the clash between Emily Thorne, played by Emily VanCamp, and Victoria Grayson, portrayed by Medeleine Stowe, when it aired last Sunday on ABC.

Fan can recall that "Repercussions" picked up right where Episode 4, entitled "Meteor", left off.

In "Meteor," David Clarke, played by James Tupper, publicly recognized his alleged daughter, Charlotte, portrayed by Christa B. Allen. The episode showed Grayson pleased with Charlotte's desire to be with Clarke, which enraged Thorne.

The revelation shocked Nolan Ross, played by Gabriel Mann, who learned through Thorne that Grayson was behind everything. Fans of David Clarke are hoping that he plays his cards carefully in the upcoming episodes, as his life is most likely in danger.

The show's promotional video for the week showed that the most recent threat to Clarke's life, was a tattooed man attempting to run over Clarke with a car.

Stepping into the synopsis for the upcoming episode, TV.com posted, "Emily tries to arrange a reunion with her dad, but she needs to be creative about it now that he's in the spotlight again and Victoria's regained the upper hand."

While fans of the series are excited to see drama intensify with the addition of ne antagonists, 'Revenge' actually received a negative review from TV.com.

Apparently, some find that the writers of 'Revenge' have come to a point where they struggle to come up with new stories that are not about Emily getting back at the Graysons.

The early success of 'Revenge' is ironically one of the worst things to happen to the series because ABC became set on making more episodes of the show. Instead of giving the show the ending it deserved, it trudges on with lackluster episodes, the review said.

Even Mike Kelley, creator of 'Revenge', anticipated this problem and decided to leave the series after Season 2.
