The Revenge Season 3 finale was full of deaths and focused on the revenge motives of various different characters. The finale was shocking to some fans, with many eager now to know when the Season 4 release date will take place and how long they will have to wait to find out what happens next in the Season 4 premiere.

In Dead Man Walking, Victoria killed Aiden which leaves Emily tormented and understandably hungry for revenge. 

Creator Sunil Nayar obviously played with the characters' emotional tendencies setting up Season 4 as potentially one of the most exciting seasons yet.

As ABC renews Revenge for another season, fans can expect a lot of unfinished business to be addressed in the upcoming season. 

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Nayar confirmed that David Clarke is back to answer many questions that fans have been asking over the past three seasons.

"[I]t felt like it was one of those game-changing things we needed going into season 4.  And I know people have always been like, 'Is he [alive]?'  'Is he not?'  And I'm very curious to see what the audience's reaction is going to be because my gut says it's going to be a little bit polarizing.  But I definitely think it's going to be one of those things where's there's going to be nobody who won't come back to see A) How he's still alive and B) What on earth is going to happen when he shows up," Nayar said, detailing how Clarke's character will be portrayed in Season 4.

Revenge Season 4 is expected to premiere on September 2014 following the patterns of release used from Seasons 1 through 3.
