Family members of all ages can be excited for the March 15^th Hallmark Channel world premiere of Return to Nim's Island, starring Bindi Irwin, daughter of the late family entertainment icon, Steve Irwin ("Crocodile Hunter").

Created in collaboration with Walmart, Procter and Gamble, award winning Walden Media, and ARC Entertainment, "Walden Family Theater" have committed to filling the void for quality family entertainment on TV.

"Return to Nim's Island" is the first of 6 original family-oriented movies in the franchise. Debuting in May on the Hallmark Channel, the second movie, "Space Warriors" will star Dermot Mulroney, Danny Glover, Josh Lucas, Mira Sorvino and Thomas Horn. Future titles and release dates will be announced soon.

No strangers to family classics, Walden Media's body of work includes the Chronicles of Narnia series, Holes, Bridge To Terabithia, Amazing Grace and Journey To The Center Of The Earth. Michael Flaherty, co-founder of Walden Media believes the new project to be just as successful.

Return to Nim's Island is the sequel to Walden Media's 2008 box office hit Nim's Island. This time around Nim is 14 years old and even more determined to fight off resort developers and poachers to protect her island and all the wildlife that call it home. This time around she's forced to rely on her first human friend, Edmund.

Inspired by Wendy Orr's enchanting Nim series, Return to Nim's Island is movie for all ages.
