The promo hints that another dead member of the Langston family may be returning. It features Jacob Langston going to the Langston family mausoleum, where a shot of a tombstone that belongs to a "Margaret Langston" is shown. It turns out that the owner of the tombstone is Jacob's grandmother, who died long before he did.

While the promo showed that Jacob survived the roadblock from Season 1, it was not shown whether Agent Bellamy made it.

However, it is speculated that the Agent Bellamy may appear in the second season as a Returned, since the promo shows Bellamy waking up in the middle of a field, which is said to be typical for someone who is a new Returned.

In addition to this, it is said that the upcoming season will help viewers to understand the Returned more through the exploration of some secondary characters' back stories.

Meanwhile, another reason why fans of the show should be excited for Season 2 of 'Resurrection' involves the inclusion of two well-known stars into the cast.

'Game of Thrones' actress Michelle Fairley was announced to be joining the show as the Langston matriarch, while two-time Tony-winner Donna Murphy will be the new government agent who is tasked to observe Agent Bellamy.
