‘Resident Evil Revelations 2’ Release Date Latest News: Game Details & Gameplay Footage [VIDEO]

'Resident Evil Revelations 2' will arrive on Feb. 17, 2015, as reported by Sony Entertainment Network's website, with bonus features and some serious chilling gameplay.

The game will feature Claire Redfield and Moira Burton, and it will be similar to the first 'Resident Evil Revelations', where players can switch between the two characters in the game.

A gameplay demo of 'Resident Evil Revelations 2' was released where fans can see Claire Redfield and Moira Burton traversing through an eerie prison full of monsters being controlled by an enemy watching them on CCTV cameras scattered about the prison.

Claire will be the "alpha member" and do the killing, while Moira dons a crowbar and flashlight, guiding Claire, prying open doors, and defending herself if ever the need should arise.

Moreover, 'Resident Evil Revelations 2' Game developer Capcom announced at the recent New York Comic Con that pre-orders of the game will come with a Raid Mode Throwback stage pack and are already available on PS3 and PS4.

The Raid Mode Throwback Stage Pack will allow gamers to view some classic moments from past games like 'Resident Evil' and 'Revelations 2'.

Raid Mode is an added shooter-based mode that players can use to shoot their way through several different stages from previous 'Resident Evil' games.

Capcom is planning to launch 'Resident Evil Revelations 2' as an "episodic experience," releasing the game one episode a week, with each episode reportedly having 2 hours of gameplay.

Capcom will then offer a disc release of the Complete Season Pack with the bonus content for $40 at an undisclosed date

The digital version of the full game, which has four episodes including additional bonus content and a Raid Mode is priced at $24.99, while individual episodes are priced at $5.99.

'Resident Evil Revelations 2' is set to arrive on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Windows PC coming Feb.17, 2015, however Capcom reveals that the date is not yet finalized and remains in their "early 2015" release window.
