‘Reign’ Season 2 Spoilers, Plot Rumors: Major Cliffhangers Plus 5 Different Story Lines When Show Resumes October 2 [TRAILER]
CW's American historical fiction series, 'Reign', is cooking up some major changes when the show returns in the Fall. One photo shared by the 'Reign' writers on Twitter, revealed that the series will develop into an intense cliffhanger in the mid-season finale since the show is currently filming Episode 4.
Adelaide Kane teased what the possibilities are for her character Mary, "We'll see how long the show goes for because I would love to get around to her second marriage and her bearing a child. I'm very excited to have a baby. That will be very exciting," Fanbolt stated.
"We might fudge that if we know that we're going to wrap up at the end of the season, we might say cut to whatever or we might just leave it. I don't know if we're going to get to her death...we could get to that point over the next three or four seasons in which case I'll be 27, 28 and still too young. She died in her 40's..." the 24-year-old Australian actress also revealed.
While death is a certain event in the second season, fans will explore five more story-lines that tackle "what rises from the ashes of the plague," as executive producer Laurie McCarthy mentioned at the San Diego Comic-Con 2014.
'Reign' Season 2 premieres on October 2, every Thursday night at 9 PM on CW.
