The Monday Night Football double-header, a real treat for Week 1, starts with RG3 and the Washington Redskins vs. Chip Kelly's option read Philadelphia Eagles. Leading up to tonight's NFC battle, the hot topic has been RG3's health and his ability to shake off the rust.

How head coach Mike Shanahan will alter the offense to protect RG3 better will make a huge difference in his health going down the stretch. Given he's had an extra day to prepare for the game, Shanahan's likely to have a well-developed game plan.

RG3 isn't the only storyline to consider. The Redskins are getting two key contributors back on the defensive side of the ball, a weakness for long stretches of last season.

Worth the price of admission will be to see Chip Kelly's full playbook for the Philadelphia Eagles. It's likely he's been holding on to a few new up-tempo schemes for the regular season.

If Eagles quarterback Michael Vick were to have an opportunity to resurrect his career, Chip Kelly's Oregon style offense would definitely be the best fit. Though he's shown flashes of his old self while in Philadelphia, durability has been the biggest problem for the aging playmaker.

On the other side of the ball the Eagles defense has looked pretty soft in the preseason. They didn't get a whole lot of personnel changes in the offseason, which leads many to believe the Eagles will have to score to keep up.
