'Red Dead Redemption 2' News: Title Set For 2017 Release, Ignited By Xbox Backwards Compatibility?

New details on the release date of "Red Dead Redemption 2" have surfaced and it is expected to be sooner, as Microsoft has added more Xbox games for the backward compatibility.

"Red Dead Redemption 2" is assumed to be released in 2017, according to Parent Herald. As per the publication, fans' hope recently rose because of the leaked map released in April, in addition to the halted launch of the title at the Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 2016.

In June, the team behind the upcoming game title teased potential game release following rumors about its launch. However, the trailer for the game contained violent scenes and footages, resulting to its cancellation secondary to the recent shooting incident n Orlando.

"Red Dead Redemption 2" is set to feature multiplayer mode, as per Ecumenical News. While the said feature is assumed to be a major boost to the forthcoming game title, details on whether players can access several maps with it or just within selected maps are yet to be revealed.

Meanwhile, new games have been added for Xbox One backward compatibility, according to Express. As per the publication, these are "Blood Knights," "Mars: War Logs," "Gripshift," "Go!Go!Break Steady," and "Bloodforge." With such additions to the backward compatibility, fans assume that a good change for "Red Dead Redemption."

It is further revealed that Reddit users have unveiled new photos featuring the game's store page enlisting the forthcoming game sequel as available on "Xbox." However, this is yet to be confirmed by Rockstar Games or Microsoft.
